Lorna Sue Hall

Lorna Sue Hall, 64 of Providence passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at her home.

Lorna was born on April 8, 1961 in Sturgis to the late Robert Quertermus and Joyce Ann Collins. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and was employed at Regional Medical Center/Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville but, her passion was working for Baptist Health Hospice.  She felt like her calling was to take care of and help those patients and their families that were facing their last days.  She was a devoted wife and loving mother and granny.

Lorna was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a sister George Ann Rowley and brother Randy Collins.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years Kenny Hall of Providence; 2 sons Matt Hall (Amie) of Dixon and Jared Hall (Brittany) of Madisonville; 2 brothers Roger Dailey (Gail) of Owensville, IN and Troy Collins of Henderson, IN; granddaughter Ellie Hall; Aunt Mary Vaughn of Clay.

Funeral services will be Thursday. February 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence with Bro. Johnnie Davis officiating.  Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 AM till service time at the church.
